How to prepare for your Taj Mahal visit

What to pack - Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, mosquito spray, toilet paper.

What to wear - Loose and light comfortable clothes along with comfortable walking shoes.

What can you carry inside the Taj Mahal - There is a strict security check at the Taj Mahal. You can carry your passport, cash and cards, medicines, water, mobile, toilet paper, sunglasses. Leave everything else back in your vehicle.

You could expect Taj Mahal complex to be pretty crowded, especially at sunrise and at sunset as well as on weekends.

Itinerary

Morning train from Delhi to Agra (approx. 2 hours | around 210 kms)

Gatiman Express: 08:10 am (departure from Hazrat Nizamuddin) | 09:50 am (arrival in Agra)

We will pick you up from your hotel in Delhi and drive to railway station for your train journey to Agra. Pick up time will depend upon your hotel's location in Delhi which you need to provide us with at least 48 hours before the trip date.

We will be travelling on one of the fastest trains in India. Seats are reserved and there are washrooms on the train. Packed breakfast and evening snacks are served and are a part of the journey ticket.

Upon arrival into Agra, we will go straight to the Taj Mahal. Afterwards, we will visit  Agra fort. In between, depending upon your convenience, we will have lunch at one of the 5* hotels in Agra.

Gatiman Express: 05:50 pm (departure from Agra) | 07:30 pm (arrival at Hazrat Nizamuddin).
