How to prepare for this trip

What to pack - Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, mosquito spray, toilet paper.

What to wear - Loose and light comfortable clothes along with comfortable walking shoes.

What can you carry inside the Taj Mahal - There is a strict security check at the Taj Mahal. You can carry your passport, cash and cards, medicines, water, mobile, toilet paper, sunglasses. Leave everything else back in your vehicle.

You could expect Taj Mahal complex to be pretty crowded, especially at sunrise and at sunset as well as on weekends.

Itinerary

Drive from Delhi to Agra = approx. 210 kms | around 4 hours

We will leave for Agra at 06:30 am (seasonal) and drive on Yamuna expressway to reach Agra. On the way, washrooms are available and it is possible to have a cup of tea or coffee.

Upon arrival into Agra, we will head straight to the Taj Mahal. Afterwards, we will have lunch at one of the 5 star hotels in Agra before we head to the Agra fort.

On our return, we are likely to reach Delhi by 08:00 pm or so. We will drop you back at your hotel.
