Today, we will drive from Delhi to Dholpur via Agra. 

Drive from Delhi to Agra = around 210 kms | approx. 5 hours.

Upon arrival into Agra, we will head out on our sightseeing of the city with a visit to the Taj Mahal as well as Agra fort. Once we are through with our sightseeing in Agra, we will drive to the small town of Dholpur. We are likely to reach Dholpur in the evening.

Drive from Agra to Dholpur = around 65 kms | approx. 1.5 hours.

Today, we have a day at the small town of Dholpur in Rajasthan. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the comfort of your hotel.

We will head out on a relaxed walking tour of the town where life is simple, people are much friendlier. Look out for that ornate step well tucked away in a corner. Later, we'll visit the Muchkund temple complex which is hardly 15 minutes' drive from our hotel.

You will have some time to relax and enjoy the comfort of your hotel.

Drive from Dholpur to Sawai Madhopur = around 215 kms | approx. 6 hours.

Post breakfast, we will leave for Sawai Madhopur famous for Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. It is a beautiful drive through the rustic countryside with fairly good roads. Options to use washrooms could be scarce. We will have to rely on basic washrooms available at fuel stations on the way.

Morning game drive departs around 06:00 am (seasonal) and ends around 09:30 am.

Breakfast is available after your return from the safari. If any of your medical conditions require an early morning breakfast, please place advance order with the hotel.

Afternoon safari departs around 02:00 pm (seasonal) and ends around 06:00 pm.

Drive from Sawai Madhopur to Bundi = around 150 kms | approx. 3.5 hours.

Post breakfast, we will leave for Bundi through a beautiful and scenic countryside with roads in fairly good condition.

Bundi is a low profile town with numerous step wells, some crumbling palaces and quirky marketplaces. However, it never fails to impress a traveller due to its character and friendliness. By the way, Rudyard Kipling spent some time here.

• Jeep safari

Drive from Bijaipur to Udaipur = around 175 kms | approx. 4 hours.

Post breakfast, we will leave for Udaipur. Upon arrival, settle down into your hotel. This afternoon, we will visit the City Palace of Udaipur followed by a walking tour of the old town.

There are plenty of optional activities (not included in the trip price) here and you could always seek your Tour Leader's help in pursuing any of those, subject to your tastes and preferences.

Today, we will go and be a part of a cooking class conducted by one of our local friends. This is where you get to learn the secrets of Indian cuisine. Enjoy playing around with different sets of spices and the aroma. Bon Apetit!

You will have some free time today to just sit and relax overlooking the lake or go for any of the recommended optional activities.

Drive from Udaipur to Jodhpur via Ranakpur = around 285 kms | approx. 6-7 hours.

Post breakfast, we will leave for Jodhpur. En route, we will visit the world famous Jain temples at Ranakpur which are around 400 years' old. There are options on the way for lunch and to use washrooms.

Post breakfast, we will head out on a half day's sightseeing of Jodhpur. We will visit the Mehrangarh fort and the old town which is centered around the clock tower. This is one of the oldest markets of India and this is where you will find probably the best lassi in India.

Drive from Jodhpur to Pushkar = around 180 kms | approx. 4.5 hours.

Post breakfast, we will leave for Pushkar. Upon arrival, settle into your hotel before we go out on a walking tour of Pushkar this afternoon.

IMPORTANT: Pushkar is a pilgrimage town for Hindus. Consumption of meat or alcohol within the premises of Pushkar is illegal.
