Delhi - Agra - Jaipur - Pushkar - Roopangarh
The golden triangle has always been a very popular tourist circuit in the north of India. You will visit some of the most outstanding forts and palaces in the cities of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. These monuments are popular for their grandeur, architecture and beauty. Additionally, explore the quirky town of Pushkar along with a stay at Roopangarh fort which is nearly 400 years old. In a span of just over a week, you will be able to taste golden triangle with an added dimension.
Highlights
The Taj Mahal is always a star tourist attraction. However, do look out for the fort which is indeed one of the most impressive forts in India.
Jaipur, the pink city of India, has recently made its place in to UNESCO world heritage site list. With its opulent palaces, chivalrous forts and iconic landmarks, it surely leaves the travellers spellbound. Jaipur is a paradise for shoppers!
Feel like a Maharaja or Maharani and spend a night at one of the forts which is nearly 400 years old. This has now been converted into a heritage hotel.
Pushkar has always been calm and cute. Spend some time exploring its colourful markets, lake view cafes and soak its mysticism.

Pushkar is a pilgrimage town for Hindus. Consumption of alcohol or meat is illegal within the boundaries of Pushkar.

Drive from Delhi to Agra = around 210 kms | approx. 4.5 hours
Today, it is going to be a long yet exciting day. Post breakfast, we will leave for Agra. There are options on the way for a cup of tea or coffee along with basic washrooms.

Drive from Agra to Jaipur via Abhaneri = around 255 kms | approx. 6 hours.
Post breakfast, we will leave for Jaipur. En route, we will go off the highway and reach the small village of Abhaneri famous for probably one of the most beautiful and intricately carved step wells of the region.
There are options on the way for lunch along with fairly clean washrooms. Upon arrival into Jaipur, check into your hotel and settle down.

Post breakfast, we will head out on an exciting day of exploration in Jaipur.

Drive from Jaipur to Pushkar = around 150 kms | approx. 4 hours.
Post breakfast, we will leave for Pushkar. Upon arrival into Pushkar, check into your hotel and settle down. This evening we will go on a walking tour of the town full of temples, holy men, cows, colourful and quirky markets and myriad variety of restaurants and cafes.

Today, early morning enthusiasts could opt for a walk up to the Savitri temple for a beautiful view of the town and the surroundings. Later, post breakfast, we will leave for Roopangarh.
Drive from Pushkar to Roopangarh = around 70 kms | approx. 1.5 hours
There may not be proper washrooms stops on this route as we are driving through the countryside.
After going through the hustle and bustle of cities, it is definitely going to be a great change as you spend a day getting to know life and culture in a small Rajasthani village.
Tonight you are staying at the Roopangarh fort which is approximately 400 years old and was used by the royal family of the region.

Drive from Pushkar to Delhi = around 365 kms | approx. 8 hours.
Enjoy breakfast in the royal comfort of fort Roopangarh. Around 10 am, we will leave for Delhi. Roads are in good condition and there are plenty of options on the way for lunch and to use fairly clean washrooms.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel and settle down.
