For a traveler, being able to have a meal with a local is one of the most authentic culinary experiences in India. It is a great opportunity for you to get to know a local Indian family, their culture and lifestyle and also unravel the secrets of home cooked Punjabi flavours. Punjab – the bread basket of India is popular for its rich and delicious cuisine and you would know why by the end of this tour.
You will get exposed to meal being prepared and you are free to ask any questions that you may have. If you wish, you could try your hand in rolling chapati or frying some fritters. The family will provide information on their lifestyles of Indians, the traditions of home life, the importance of family in Indian culture, arranged marriages - and of course, the food!

Cycle rickshaw/e-rickshaw ride through a non-touristy neighbourhood is pretty exciting. Enjoy a ride in Delhi metro which is fast and fancy.

Do not carry large amount of cash with you. We will be using Delhi metro to commute.
This experience is on offer either at lunch or at dinner. We will re-confirm your pick up time 24 hours in advance.
Pick Up location: R K Ashram Marg Metro Station (Gate No.3)
Our representative or one of the family members will pick you up from the above mentioned location and we will take metro to reach the venue. From the metro station, we will take cycle rickshaws/e-rickshaws to reach our venue.
At the end of your tour, we will board metro back to the pick up location. Alternatively, your hosts could help you board a local taxi (not included in your tour price) back to your hotel.
